Jardine Water Treatment Plant – Standby Power for Chlorine Area, Chicago, IL
Contract Amount:  $500K
Project Description:  Designed a new generator facility to provide standby power and utilized site visits to locate new facility, power distribution, and remote alarm requirements.
 
Lakeview Pumping Station, Chicago, IL
Contract Amount:  $3 Million
Project Description:  Electrical Project Manager for the in-house design which provided the addition of a fourth pumping unit to the existing pump station. Design included providing controls and relaying for a spare cubicle in the switchgear lineup, interfacing with the existing remote control system to the Jefferson Pumping station and field supervision during the construction phase.
 
Jefferson Pumping Station, Chicago, IL
Contract Amount:  $20 Million
Project Description:  Electrical Project Manager for the electrical rehabilitation of the Jefferson Pumping Station. Responsibilities included supervision of consultant design, the review of specifications and drawings, and field supervision during the construction phase. This project replaced open live front electrical gear with modern dead front switchgear and provided new auxiliary power equipment for the building heating, ventilation and auxiliary systems. All work was completed without taking the station out of service.
 
Chicago Transit Authority - O’Hare International Airport Extension, Chicago, IL
Contract Amount:  $200 Million
Project Description:  Construction of four (4) new passenger stations, five (5) new electrical substations, a new yard and shop facility, two (2) new tunnels, one under the Des Plaines River and one entering the underground O’Hare Passenger Station, and various appurtenant support systems. Additional responsibilities required preparation of design criteria, procurement of equipment, evaluation of consultants, negotiations of contracts, supervision of various A/E Firms during design stages, and design support during construction stages.
 
The Chicago Midway Airport: New Lighting Vault, Chicago, IL
Contract Amount:  $5.5 Million
Project Description:  Design of a new airfield lighting vault in the modernization of the Midway Airport. The new airfield lighting vault was required to replace the existing lighting vault, which was in the middle of the proposed gate expansion.
 
Chicago O’Hare International Airport – Runway 14L-32R, Chicago, IL
Contract Amount:  $5 Million
Project Description:  Overlay of the second longest runway at O’Hare in which the centerline lights, edge lights, touchdown lights, end zone lights and the associated cabling were replaced.
 
Expansion & Modernization of a Sewage Treatment Plant, Brooklyn, New York
Contract Amount:  $5 Million
Project Description:  Expansion and modernization of the existing plant, which provided primary treatment for 50 MGD of residential sewage. Most of the expanded facilities were built underground to preserve the park and recreational facilities adjacent to the existing facilities.
 
Chicago International Charter School (CICS), Chicago, IL
Contract Amount:  $5.2 Million
Project Description:  Renovation through Design / Build Construction, a joint venture with Wight & Co. responsible for ADA code compliance, bid management, contract management, monitoring, scheduling, monthly payments, construction, quality control, and close-out.
 
Chicago Housing Authority, Altgeld Gardens / Philip Murray Homes Chicago, IL
Contract Amount:  $300 Million Phase One and Phase Two
Project Description:  Development of 1,998 units scheduled for completion 1st Quarter 2012. It is simultaneous construction renovation development creating more community landscapes, streetscapes and infrastructure redevelopment.
 
Radford Army Arsenal
Contract Amount:  $2 Million
Project Description:  A short circuit study for a 69 KV transmission loop connecting two public utility tie lines, a government generating plant and five substations. The study was used to determine equipment ratings, relay settings, as well as size and type of substation bus based on subsequent short circuit force studies.
